Christmas party in sign of bratwurst and sausages

This year we celebrated the Yule in JENEWEIN GROUP and companies in its portfolio by a typical Slovak pig-slaughtering. An ambient of Galloper club, near behind the Dúbravka, a sizeable amount of snow, a temperature deep under the zero and a butcher's master hood were the basis of an amazing experience. We tasted the pig-slaughtering specialities, which we helped to prepare, during the whole afternoon and evening. Everyone took home a lavish hamper. A traditional Christmas raffle, where everybody endowed and was endowed, could not absent, as also a long discussions and a lot of fun. We tuned in to coming nicest feast of the year as good as it was possible.

St. Nicolas Evening

JENEWEIN GROUP and companies in its portfolio reside from the beginning of December at new address. It seems that firmly everyone knows it, because just one week after the moving also St. Nicolas arrived at Štefanovičova 12! With an angel and devil besides, he visited the new painted scented office shortly after 4 PM. Even he was a bit cagey, he generously meddled in to his overfilled bag. He repaid for each poem or song by a sweet packet. After, when St. Nicolas had left, nearly twenty children watched an animated cartoon and together with parents and others relatives, everybody savoured the prepared goodies. The Christmas decoration and cheer persisted in new residence of JENEWEIN GROUP during following days… MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Benefit Christmas tree

A Benefit Christmas tree of Children's safety line is a part of Christmas markets at Hviezdoslavovo námestie in Bratislava from the beginning of Advent till the end of the year 2010. The Christmas balls which decorate the tree were given by the general partners and supporters, among which is also a consulting company Amrop Slovakia, member of JENEWEIN GROUP. Christmas ball with the Amrop label symbolize a gift to the Children's safety line next to Slovak UNICEF Committee-financial subsidy in height of 444 EUR. The Christmas tree lighted up the December 4, 2010. A part of a nice celebration was Christmas market with interesting goods and gourmand specialities and also competitive sale of Christmas punch 116 111-which is the number of free telephone line attainable for children from whole Slovakia in case of destitute.

Seminar for students in Brussels

The European Parliament Information Office in SR in cooperation with JENEWEIN GROUP organized seminar for university students in Brussels on November 9 and 11, 2010. It was a two-day event with in advance planned professional program. Its aim was not only to inform about European Parliament, its principles, competences and current topics but by the form of an excursion and by following discussion to introduce Brussels as a capital of the Union and directly in its centre to clarify the work and way of functioning of European Parliament and other European institutions. The students met with Maroš Šefčovič, vice-president of European Commission, with Slovak Members of European Parliament and with many other professionals. The part of the program became also the visit of consultancy and lobbying company FIPRA-Finsbury International Policy & Regulatory Advisers, where Laurent Willaert discussed with students.

Jenewein Pétangue Cup

From the consulting company Amrop Slovakia came the initiation to greet this autumn by a company tournament Great idea didn't go under the dust and so the Jenewein Pétangue Cup took place on September 24, 2010 at Garden of Janko Kráľ with a participation of athletes and spectators from all companies of JENEWEIN GROUP portfolio. As it is by that popular French game usual, also in this case the real sport dueling came with pleasant social entertainment. Everybody enjoyed it, but the challenge cup was at most appreciated by the winners Ladislava Chvostaľová and Silvia Čižmárová.

Amrop again in La Clusaz

During September 17-19, 2010 took place the fourth common teambuilding for delegates of Executive Search companies from Central and Eastern Europe, which operate on market under the brand Amrop, in a tourist resort La Clusaz in French Alps. Slovak office was represented by Igor Šulík, Managing Partner, and Mario Fondati, Partner, of consulting company Amrop Slovakia. The program was again a well done combination of work, social and sport parts. Workshops were oriented on the creation of common strategies which will improve the cooperation in provision of services in whole region. The entertaining program was in the spirit of solving an enigma in a picturesque town Annecy, where several activities were discovered by a boating on a lake. Participants reinforced the team spirit in a dragon boat race.

 

Human Resources for children

Following a long-term partnership with Children's safety line, consulting company Amrop Slovakia-member of Jenewein Group, decided to support actively the second year of a charitable 21 km run for children. This funny and competitive undertaking took place on September 19, 2010 in an amphitheatre on Partizánska lúka in Bratislava. Each entrant can choose the running track after his skills-21 km, 7 km, 3 km or a Family run for parents with children. Besides the preparation of an own run-team, Amrop collaborated also on the organization and propagation of the undertaking. Amrop assures by volunteer work a fluent pass of the own contest on the day D and, moreover, he committed to address a large "human resources community" and connect the most of active entrants form particular companies. Thanks to that, the help for children in need is more accentuated because all money acquired by volunteer fundraisers from start dues and fees will be given to Children's safety line. The total amount for this year: 5 268,02 euro!

Find a job with HN

The daily Hospodárske noviny in a successful project Find a job with HN every week from end of May publish stories of candidates-fresh graduates-for a vacant position, their CV, picture, evaluation and their potential career path. Members of the commission, which assess prerequisites and chances of success on the labour market in a simulated interview, became also experts of the consulting company Amrop Slovakia and Fipra Slovakia.

Austrian Amrop Jenewein celebrated

Already for the thirty first time Günther Tengel, Managing Partner of the Austrian consulting company Amrop Jenewein, invited business partners, friends and colleagues to a traditional birthday party in famous Viennese restaurant Zum Martin Sepp. Whereas last year he celebrated the round jubilee as a boss of company Jenewein & Partner/Amrop Hever in a garden of a palace Schönburg, this time more than 400 invited guests congratulated him and his team for the first time after the change of name to Amrop Jenewein in a more intimate environment. Representatives of tenth top Austrian and international companies took part in this party. Ulrich Dade, Chairman The Amrop Group, was one of guests too. Company Amrop Slovakia was represented by Mario Fondati, Igor Šulík, Soňa Szabadosová and Ladislava Chvostaľová. As prestigious Austrian dailies wrote "tactician Tengel has chosen a free day in timetable of Football Championship for organizing a party, so his guests could peacefully speak and reveal till early morning”.
