Verejno-súkromné partnerstvá or public-private partnerships
Association for the promotion of projects of public-private partnerships (PPP Association) as an association of private sector for the area of public-private partnerships prepared an information booklet Verejno-súkromné partnerstvá or public-private partnerships in order to facilitate orientation on the issue of PPPs for the public and private entities, and thus promote the development of PPP projects in Slovakia. The basic idea of public-private partnerships is extensive use of the private sector (in particular, its experience and ability to manage) in providing public services without a permanent transition of decision-making power or ownership to the private partner. Thanks to long-term partnership and membership of advisory company AJG consulting in the PPP Association, one of the authors and editors of the booklet became its manager Marek Mitošinka.

Agenda for Europe: proposals for a civil society
European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) for the first time since its inception adopted a document which reflects the attitude of the current political debate on concrete and urgent problems of Europe-the need for rebuilding the economy and social sphere and European elections. Through the Programme for Europe: proposals for civil society, the Committee urges the European institutions, Member States, political and social forces, and thus the EU citizens, to focus the European elections truly on European issues and not only on national interests of individual countries. This is particularly important at a time when in the most of the member states is discussed the boosting of the economy and financial sector. To the quest for answers on the European and local level and initiating a joint action leading to sustainable economic recovery and social progress want to contribute through their membership in the EESC also Martin Krekáč, JENEWEIN GROUP co-founder, and Patrik Zoltvány, Senior Partner in the consulting company FIPRA Slovakia.
