Jenewein Group again supported the project Mission – Celebrities are couriers
On June 3, 2019, almost fifty celebrities of cultural, sporting and social life once again went into the streets of Bratislava on the bicycles in the role of special couriers to engage in a charitable project to help the handicapped people. This help consists of purchasing, for the money collected, of the medical devices for specific children and young people, who can’t be reimbursed by their insurance companies, while they need these devices to improve the quality of their life. Every year, the Mission manages to raise money for eight to ten medical devices (11,614,30 € was collected this year). Jenewein Group supported this activity and ordered an actress and singer Lucia Lužinská as a courier, who came to our headquarters together with chef Martin Korbelič and moderator Ludwig Bagin. In addition to the few minutes we spent with the couriers and the art-certified certificate by Peter Stankovič, we were also pleased with the fact that we shared our success and supported a meaningful project.

Jenewein Group for the Dagmar and Václav Havel Foundation Vize 97
Jenewein Group, with its offices in Prague and Bratislava, became a partner of the third annual benefit gala evening organized under the auspices of the Dagmar and Václav Havel Foundation Vize 97 (Vision 97). This event, together with a charity dinner, was once again dramaturgically inspired by Václav Havel's play – this year it was the play Pokoušení. In Jenewein Group, we were delighted to accept a personal invitation from Dagmar Havlová and all the more, so we strengthened our enthusiasm by inviting the Czechoslovak legend Meky Žbirka with his wife Katka to our Jenewein table. Together with the magical effects of genius loci of the Church of St. Anna Pražská křižovatka, the May 30, 2019 has become an unrepeatable day for us too. All participants, partners, sponsors and friends of the Foundation are thanked for their commitment, thanks to which it managed to collect 879,000 CZK. These proceeds went to the restoration of frescoes at the Pražská křižovatka.

The concert Chyťme sa za ruky traditionally with Jenewein Group’s support
Jenewein Group has been supporting a beneficial event Chyťme sa za ruky (Let us hold hands) for several years. The tenth annual edition was held on May 26, 2019, in the courtyard of the historic neo-Gothic manor house in Galanta, for around 600 mentally and physically handicapped children and adults from 22 institutes and facilities to integrate and include them in more than a hundred "regular" visitors. As Milan Štefánik, the founder of the Civic Association for mentally handicapped, wrote to us in gratitude, the disabled clients of these facilities have almost no opportunity to participate in a music concert or other event during the year. Therefore, every year, the Civic Association organizes a meaningful benefit concert for them, in which mostly children are actively involved with their own program. Traditionally, a number of singers and bands, including guests from abroad, performed at the concert that is pro bono, while this year Marián Miezga was the presenter. The program was complemented by creative workshops, dance lessons, decorating plaster casts, face painting and hot wax painting on the paper wax or canvas painting.

Family Texas Scramble 2019
Jenewein Group has become one of the partners of the Family Texas Scramble golf tournament, which took place on May 16, 2019 at the Golf Club Skalica. The successful sporting event was primarily intended for family couples, which was also a great celebration of the International Family Day (May 15). The organizers have prepared a loaded program also open to those who are not (yet) active players and are just looking for a golf course. In addition to sporting activities, the participants also used the Skalica’s tournament to deepen their contacts, especially with representatives of Family Businesses, many of whom were represented by a generation of founders and their successors.

Breakfast with Marian Jelínek on the roof of Lucerna
It is not really easy to choose from a rich offer of the events calendar that is organized every day in Prague. On April 12, 2019 we left the Prague office for breakfast on the Lucerna roof. The attraction was not only the beautiful view of the Old Town, but also the host – Marian Jelínek, a hockey and top athletes’ coach. Among others, he also coached Jaromír Jágr and so he had something to say to the audience. The main part of the breakfast program with Marian Jelínek was an informal discussion about motivation in the era of welfare.

Czech-Slovak teambuilding in Prague
Moving of Jenewein Group’s Prague office to the new premises at Voršilská 10 was the main, though not the only reason for a two-day teambuilding of the consulting group in Prague. The Czech-Slovak meeting in the new premises was completed by a joint dinner at the brewery U Balbínů. The next day we didn’t miss the thematically close Czech-Slovak/Slovak-Czech exhibition in the National Museum. A lunch at our favorite restaurant Potrefená husa made a point after the spring joint meeting of Prague and Bratislava offices in Prague.

Culture Rocks – a conference not only about corporate culture
Jenewein Group was also there. The invitation to the fifth meeting of Culture Rocks could not be refused. The organizers have invited companies whose "leaders take care of their team as of a tribe and lead it to a clear vision". According to the invitation, the participants "can forget about traditional presentations and the traditional conference hall". These words were fulfilled as the inspiring talk show with interesting guests took place on April 4, 2019 in a truly unconventional setting – the Chapel of the Sacre Coeur Church in Prague. At the Culture Rocks 2019, Jenewein Group was represented by Senior Client Partner Miroslav Jankovič from the Prague office.
