Pacifist Challenge ´08

Paintball ground near Kúty became on April 18, 2008 a place of AMROP HEVER Slovakia's outdoor teambuilding action. It took place under the name Pacifist Challenge ´08 and on the action took part also some employees from the other JENEWEIN GROUP holding companies as they were invited by Managing Partner Igor Šulík. Departure from Bratislava was set to 8am, so shortly after 9am participants were already divided into teams, in which they were competing, actively fighting, playing and just having a good time till the late afternoon. As the official teambuilding action language was besides Slovak also "Záhorie” dialect, almost everyone acquired some new phrases from this picturesque Záhorie region. But more important is that we have carried off new experience and got the taste of (and it sometimes felt really deeply) team concepts, cooperation, unity, common goals or victory.

JENEWEIN Golf Classic 2008

Slovak firm golf league has a stable place in the golf calendar. This year its name is JENEWEIN Golf Classic. 6th year of the companies´ competition has started on April 17, 2008 in two pools (East and West). Companies could have had teams in both groups to compete for the finals, which will take place on September, 18. and 19., 2008 in the golf course in Čeladná (CZE). JENEWEIN GROUP has become a general promotional partner and active participant of the event because of the simple reason. As Martin Novotný, co-chairman of its Governing Board, emphasized, "golf, as a play, represents many features that are close to the professional approach and values in the field of business". One of the values is undoubtedly ethics and moral aspect of the golf as a game of gentlemen that respect each other in spite of being competitors. Second dimension should be the effort of constant improvement, which is also one of the main cornerstones in the JENEWEIN GROUP. Important part in creating this partnership was a fact that organizer Albatros Group and magazine Golf-lifestyle and golf revue, will transfer a sum of money to assign golf child tour, called Golfík Tour. Mascot and guide through all the competition is a statuette made by academic artist Svetozár Ilavský, which is named after Jean-Francois Jenewein - the father and the founder of JENEWEIN brand, who was not only successful entrepreneur, but also passionate golf player.

AMROP HEVER CEE conference

Traditionally strong position in Central and Eastern Europe within the bounds of The Amrop Hever Group, geographically biggest world's Executive Search companies network, has been once again confirmed by year 2007 business results, which were released in April CEE conference in Palma de Mallorca. As Radomír Mako and Igor Šulík, who participated at the three day's meeting as the AMROP HEVER consultancy group representatives, confirmed, central and eastern European region has gained appreciation not only for its growth and dynamics, but also for permanent cooperation and trade of experience and for the effort in improving performance in individual work groups. At the meeting, the issues about strengthening the AMROP HEVER brand, entering new markets, social responsibility and broadening the activities of handicapped persons support or a need to permanently innovate and standardize advisory services and methods were spoken too. Discussion results will be known after The Amrop Hever Group world's conference, which will take place in June 2008 in Singapore.

Who I'll be? and Diagnosis: UNwaken

Consulting company AMROP HEVER Slovakia under the terms of long-time partnership with non-profit and independent organization Uni2010 has again professionally promoted its initiatives, aimed at help for university students during discovering their own talents and building personal vision. On March 5, 2008, company involved to realization of panel discussion on the topic Who I'll be, with target to mediate practical experience. Panel guests, including Lukáš Zajac, consultant of AMROP HEVER Slovakia, talked to students also about the reason, why they should think about professional future and who are they in eyes of external world. Various activities of Uni2010 culminated in first half of this year with thematic conference called Diagnosis: UNwaken. It was held on April, 28th, 2008 in Banská Bystrica. The main guest of the common expedition was Martin Krekáč, co-chairman of Governing Board of JENEWEIN GROUP.

AJG Consulting and PPP Projects

Consulting company AJG Consulting has become a member of the Association for support of cooperation public and private sector projects, which arose from initiative of private sector in last 2007. Its main goal is support and development of PPP projects in Slovakia. Association wants to affect as special and professional partner mainly for public sector. According to extensive experience with PPP projects in abroad wants to affect also as a propagator of Best Practices in this area. Association will aim also at educational activities for public and private sector. In addition, another goal is to provide platform for experience and opinion exchange for companies dealing with PPP problems. On the ground of the association operate five working groups for area of Legislation, Methodology, PR and Marketing, Transport and Technical Infrastructure and Health Service. Marek Mitošinka, Manager of consulting company AJG Consulting, has become a secretary of working group for Methodology. Juraj Studeník, Partner of AJG Consulting is a member of working group for Transport and Technical Infrastructure. His ambition is creation of working group for education.
