European Human Capital Index
The Lisbon Council, a Brussels-based think tank, released on the 11th of october 2006 a new, leading-edge ranking on the state of human capital in Europe. Dubbed the European Human Capital Index, the ranking examines the significance of human capital for future innovation and growth. Specifically, the study measures human capital stock, deployment, utilization and evolution in 13 EU countries, and ranks those countries by their ability to develop their human capital to meet the challenges of globalisation.
Reforms in Slovakia 2005
At the beginning of September 2006 INEKO bring out publication Reforms in Slovakia 2005, mapping the results of project HESO in year 2005. It includes report of important economic and social measures/reforms and their evaluation by experts. Project HESO and publication was also supported by consultancy group AJG-Amrop Jenewein Group and think tank EPPP-European Partnership for Personnel Policy.

Prior to the Dutch EU-presidency, the Netherlands and Finland agreed
to work closely together to detail the theme of the Lisbon strategy and
public Governance. As a part of that cooperation, the Finnish Ministry of
Finance commissioned the European Institute of Public Administration
(EIPA) to conduct a study project concerning the Lisbon strategy and
Public Governance.
