About talent, vision and entrepreneurship
Personal consultancy AJG-Amrop Jenewein Group within long-time partnership with non-profit-making and independent organization Uni2010 become specialized guarantee of conference about talent, vision and entrepreneurship. Event taked place in May 25, 2007, in Banská Bystrica and was assigned to all, who are interested in development of talent, vision and entrepreneurship and want to learn more about existing initiative in given area, for potential employers and sponsors of projects, who want to contact with clever young people and for all, who want to join future activities and create field of contacts necessary in utilizing potential of universities students. One of the lecturer was Igor Šulík, partner of personal consultancy AJG-Amrop Jenewein Group, who performed in paneled discussion on theme Iron-blood of republic? and led workshop World CEO. Founder of Uni2010 Juraj Kováč presented the results of the first year's implementation Business Academy, carrying project Uni2010 bearing for the development of key competences of universities students, and in tandem with Marek Mitošinka, Senior Consultant at AJG, led the workshop Entrepreneurship in education.

European social dialogue
On May 23, 2007 the Association of Electrical Engineering of the Slovak Republic organized a seminar, in the facilities of the Welding Research Institute in Bratislava, as a part of SOCDI project (Social dialogue-reinforcement of the position of employers) on the theme of the European social dialogue. The goal of the meeting was to present practical experience with European social dialogue abroad, with focus on activities organized by European social partners (BusinessEurope) and by International Labour Organization. Furthermore the goal was to improve the quality of preparation for social dialogue in Slovakia and to inform about its advantages. One of the lecturers on this seminar was Patrik Zoltvány, partner of personal consultancy group AJG-Amrop Jenewein Group and member of European Economic and Social Committee in Brussels.

Corporate social responsibility
Non Government Organization Klub strieborných hláv in a cooperation with expert assistance AJG-Amrop Jenewein Group have organized international conference which general idea was to promote Corporate Social Responsibility as an instrument to advance adaptability on labor market. The conference was realized in Technopol congress hall in Bratislava and was connected with mainstreaming activities of National thematic network oriented to promote adaptability companies and employees confronted with structural changes (European EQUAL Community Initiative). Experts from international partnership from Spain, Italy, Great Britain, and from Slovakia have introduced themselves at the conference. The idea of the expert assistance of AJG was based on the fact, that Martin Krekáč, Group Chairman and Co-Founder at AJG, is also chairman NTS-C nominated as a representative of The Business alliance of Slovakia (PAS). Vice-president is Marek Mitošinka, Project Manager EPPP-European Partnership for Personnel Policy.

Via Bona Slovakia was awarded
Consultancy group AJG-Amrop Jenewein Group together with companies Anasoft APR and GlaxoSmithKline got to the final nominations to carry the general price of Via Bona Slovakia in category of small and medium enterprises (SMEs). The Evaluation Commission has chosen nominations in six categories and 106 applications decided that the winner in category of small and medium enterprises is company Anasoft APR. The general idea of The Via Bona Award was started by Pontis Foundation. The main goal of the awards is to express public acknowledgement of companies and entrepreneurs which are developing the company philanthropy in Slovakia. Also from this point of view is nominating AJG success, since according to principle of competition, awarded projects are positive examples of effective exploiting of donated finance means, time, and know-how. Companies, which enforce principles of corporate social responsibility in business and so can be a great inspiration for another companies in future, get to the attention of specialists and public.

An Energy policy for Europe
The European Commission Office Representation in Slovakia and the Information Office of the European Parliament in Slovakia organized in co-operation with The Business Alliance of Slovakia the conference titled An Energy policy for Europe. One day conference will take place on April 19th, 2007 from 11 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Pálffy Palace, Zámocká street 47 in Bratislava. The guests of the panel discussion, which is the main issue of the program will be Andris Piebalgs, member of the European commission responsible for Energy, Ľubomír Jahnátek, Minister of the Economy of the Slovak Republic and Jan Massmann, board of directors SPP, a. s. Lukasz Dziekonski, president of Energy Security Institute will deliver a supplementary report.

Financial management 2007
The Trend Promotion Company as the organizational guarantee prepared in Bratislava the TREND conference: Financial management 2007. The 12th year of this professional discourse was dedicated to financial managers and managers of businesses, operative managers of financial institution and principals. Conference was realized in April 17-18 in Holiday Inn hotel, Bratislava. Organizers in an effort to achieve the main motto: How to non-throw away successful years, had engaged the full row of experts, which introduced themselves in four thematic spheres: How to prepare myself for long-time development? What with free source? Will we also prosper five years later? and Human capital as the competitive advantage. At the conference within the fourth block introduced himself Igor Šulík, partner of personal consultancy AJG-Amrop Jenewein Group, with theme: Human capital-well manageable investment? In addition, he spoke about stabilizing and vitalizing teams as the secret of success, and tried to find an answer to question, whether today firms do enough to sustain and develop key staff.

Woman of the Year 2006
Martin Krekáč, Co-Founder and Group Chairman of AJG-Amrop Jenewein Group and President of the Business Alliance of Slovakia, participated on putting together the results and winners proclamation of prestige Woman of the Year 2006 Awards as Jury chairman. Bratislava Leaders Magazine, which declared and organized the contest, received nominations of candidates in five categories: Business, Politics & Public Service, Arts, Media & Communication and Sport. Jury chose 15 candidates, from more than 380 nominations, who managed to share their happiness in both their family and professional environments. The goal of the Woman of the Year 2006 Awards is to find such women and introduce them to the society as an inspiration for those who have ambition, as well as examples worth following (more in article I Believe in Natural not Artificial Rules by Martin Krekáč). The names of 5 winners and two Women of 21st century were announced in the Award Ceremony in March 8, 2007, Casino Reduta Bratislava in attendance of more than 150 invited guests.

Mental revolution for the new generation
Public Policy Institute (PPI), progressive political think tank with ambition to provide high-quality and innovative analyses, solutions and concepts for more areas of public policy, has published a new conception of so-called Mental revolution for the new generation. Document titled POLICY BRIEF 1, comprising also proposals and recommendations which will be reflected in the upcoming document of PPI entitled The strategy of the university education reform for the 21th century, was formed as an output of informal discussion meeting of Slovak club at the PPI that did take place in February 2007. Martin Krekáč, leading Partner and Co-founder of consultancy group of AJG-Amrop Jenewein Group, President of The Business Alliance of Slovakia and Member of Council for the University Education Reform was the main guest of this discussion.

PAS has its own representation in Brussels
Since February 2007, Business Alliance of Slovakia (PAS) has its own representation in Brussels near the R. Schuman Square at Rue Breydel. The main mission is to actively represent and advocate interests of PAS members in the EU. Representation will help to maximal recognition and utilization of advantages resulting from membership of Slovak Republic in the EU and to identification of positives or negatives following from legislative changes or priorities shaped by European institutions. One of the tasks of representation is to act in a way to support the interests of individual PAS members and on demand also assistance during creation of stabile bond with European institutions. According to Martin Krekáč, president of PAS, formation of EU representation in Brussels was logical effect after alliance had achieved four-year membership in European Economic and Social Committee. It is also part of long-term strategy aimed at representation and asserting of Slovak business environment interests in EU and making partnership with European institutions which had been missing so far. The EU Representation will be lead by Juraj Studeník, expert on EU Affairs.

Advantages and disadvantages of Slovakia joining the Eurozone
On January 30, 2007 young people and businessmen met with experts on common European currency in a discussion meeting which took place in the facilities of European Information Center. Participants had a chance to hear arguments of both-defenders and opponents of Slovakia's accession to the Eurozone. The discussion was organized by the Young European federalists (JEF-SK) in collaboration with JEF-Europe, Union of European Federalists (UEF) and European Movement International as a part of Speak up Europe program. Members and specialists of the Team Europe introduced the advantages and disadvantages of Slovakia's access to the Eurozone. One of the specialists representing a favorable attitude was Patrik Zoltvány, partner of personal consultancy group AJG-Amrop Jenewein Group. The session also had its interactive part based on voting, in which the participants were asked to express their views on Slovakia's readiness for the Euro adoption. The votings ended up in favor of the Euro adoption defenders, although in the second voting the number of those, encouraging Slovakia's early entrance into the eurozone fell slightly under the influence of the Euro critics' argumentation.
