After seven years of waiting the last barriers keeping Slovaks from free labor movement to German and Austrian markets has been eliminated. Anybody who wants to work there after May 1st does not need any special working permission, but can sign freely employment contract with the chosen employer. Social networks are moving with the labor market. To find a job through them can sometimes be easier than circulate through the employment agencies or consulting companies. Likewise, employers in finding new people take social networking as one of the sources of important information. Igor Šulík, Managing Partner at the consulting company Amrop Slovakia talks on that subject for the daily SME.
