How to find excellent senior leaders
Four out of five leaders would prefer to use Executive Search rather than an in-house recruitment process to fill senior management and specialist positions in the next five years. That stems from the global study mapping the current and future use of an executive search as a strategic service, carried out in 2020 by the independent company Censuswide on a sample of 677 business and HR leaders in 13 countries. More about this topic writes Martin Krekáč, Chairman & Founding Partner at Jenewein Group in an article for the Career and Employment Guide 2020 yearbook (published by The Slovak Spectator).
Seeking and Finding Leaders for What´s Next
As the current global situation presents many challenges on all fronts, everyone needs to accommodate and even reinvent their operating models. The executive search profession is no different. How to give a businesslike performance and not destroy your body and soul
Regarding the way we work, especially after March 2020, we can see two sorts of work team people in general. The second group consists of those who need more flexibility and prefer remote work. How do these two models differ, and how can their advantages and disadvantages be briefly described? And how did the pandemic affect it? Read the article written for InStore by Michal Lukáč, Amrop Jenewein Client Partner. In addition to interesting information, it also contains several recommendations for increasing efficiency while maintaining physical and mental health.
Family stability and property protection are prerequisites for preserving family values
In recent years, the topic of succession has come to the fore in Family Businesses. The successor maturation has accelerated by external pressure caused by the corona crisis. In many companies, it helped to realize the need to organize relationships in the company and the family. Erika Matwij and Martin Kiňo, experts from The Partners of Family-Owned Companies association (PRF), presented current topics in the family business in the weekly magazine Trend. The interview was published as a part of the Family Business series, whose professional partner is also Amrop Jenewein.
The pandemic emphasized the weaknesses of Family Businesses
Under the influence of the pandemic crisis, many companies have begun to devote intensively to their development strategy. However, it is still true that only a little amount of Family Business owners have a fixed time to create and assess their strategy. Partner at Amrop in Slovakia Rastislav Mackanič, together with Managing Partner at nebotra consulting Michal Kukula, is speaking more about this topic in the interview for Trend, which was published as a part of the Family Business series, whose professional partner is also Amrop.
Digitization changes customers, brands, and the whole market as well
The world is changing. With changes come new discoveries, possibilities, and technologies. Many years ago, society was moved forward by giant steps for decades or centuries, so great things were emerging. Nowadays, we can polemize about how the world is changing literally at every moment. And whether the revolutionary discoveries of the past are that great compared to the transformation of today. Read an article written for InStore by Patrícia Lofajová, Amrop Jenewein Research Consultant, about the world of constant change and digital disruption.
The manager selection mistakes are fatal
Most senior managers and HR executives in companies and business families know they would utilize Executive Search & Leadership Advisory services for crucial managerial and specialized position placements. And yet, many entrust recruitment agencies. One of the reasons is these agencies "include" the term Executive Search in most of their portfolios, as it looks good in such presentation materials. However, in practice, it is usually different than it should and could be. Find more in the article by Martin Krekáč, Chairman and Founding Partner at Jenewein Group.
BLOG: 2021 – So let´s try it, despite anything
On the first January days, our work teams used to symbolically give a toast to health, happiness, and success. We used to discuss the past period, and the leaders outlined what awaits the company and its people in the new year and how they will encourage and support each other. We must omit, not just this habit, for now – this is what our chairman Martin Krekáč writes about, among other things, in the first blog of this year.
