Since July 2009 The Business Alliance of Slovakia worked on the project, which main goal was to analyze competitiveness of the districts in Slovakia, to highlight the competitive advantages and disadvantages of each district and to formulate basic recommendations for their intensive development. The result of this intensive research is the Index of regional business environment that ranks districts in Slovakia by the quality of the business environment. Collected parameters allow comparing the districts in detail and identifying their strengths and weaknesses.
